This 1930s Colonial in Northwest Washington presents the unusually rich realization of a modern addition with the character and mood of an older, European home. The project included a dramatic expansion of the kitchen and created a new owners’ suite. We chose lush, dark colors throughout the house to evoke the owners’ love for England.
