My sliding door to our 2nd bedroom to be installed today! It's fun to be the one having work done on her home :)
If there’s anything anyone who knows me knows that I LOVE LOVE LOVE the holidays. No holiday is too small or un-fun in our world… My favorite is Thanksgiving but Halloween may be giving Thanksgiving a run for its money this year. I know, I know – it was two days ago. But its never too late, and in light of Halloween falling on Wednesday this year, I decided to make this a week long decorating extravaganza, culminating in a deliciously creepy Evil Feast with a few close friends who wouldn’t judge me if indeed this was too creepy. Here’s the invite I made with Galina over some Chardonnay:
When I say I got into the spirit this year, I mean it. I’ve been buying the creepiest decorations I could find since September… and I can’t wait to reveal the final fruits of my passionate search for the perfect creepy crawlers, skulls, candles and birds of prey (and of course, don’t forget the spiderwebs). The most fun part has been keeping my decorating plans secret until the latest possible moment. The final vignette is almost done in time for Saturday’s creepy din din, but thought I’d share the best bits I’ve gathered!
Pictures to come on Monday of the Evil Feast!
